Before August, Preston Hollow and the Park Cities dominated Dallas-Fort Worth’s most-expensive sales this year by list price, accounting for eight of the 10 highest-priced deals, Homes.com listings show.
But some major transactions last month have reshaped the top 10, with a Southlake estate and two sales in the Bluffview neighborhood listed at around $10 million or more. Those three homes now account for half of the top six sales by list price for the year so far, with the nearly $13 million, 20,708-square-foot Southlake property ranking as the third-highest-priced home sold in 2026.
Dallas-area agent Christine McKenny of Allie Beth Allman & Associates represented the seller of a French Provincial estate spanning more than 11,000 square feet, listed at $10.9 million, in Bluffview, an affluent neighborhood about eight miles north of downtown Dallas.
She told Homes.com News that the buyer was local, but she’s seeing an “uptick in showings” and interest from both local and out-of-state buyers.
The home spent 136 days on the market, compared to Bluffview’s average of 55 days over the last 12 months, same as the overall national average in that time. But McKenny credited the wait to timing, as the sellers opted to list the home in January.
“We entered the market in January, which is kind of an odd time,” she said. “We went back and redid photos because the house looked completely different in mid-March than in January.”
